The New Taste Journal is a collection of well over 600 healthy and delicious recipes that were created using a wide variety of simple yet amazing natural whole food ingredients.
The journal is more about your daily diet than it is about "being on a diet". There is clearly no starvation or deprivation to be found on these pages. The real message here has to do with avoiding and not settling for the manufactured processed foods that have wound their way into every meal and snack that we eat. These convenience foods are enhanced with an unreasonable amount of sugar, salt and fat, not to mention artificial flavors and preservatives.
Unfortunately when we are raised on such foods, soda and salty fried snacks for example, it is hard for us to identify and enjoy the subtle, natural flavors found in whole foods like fruits and grains. Simple observation shows us that the enhanced fake flavors tend to trump the natural flavors found in real food.
The wonderful thing about the recipes on these pages is that they are designed to be every bit as tasty as anything you have ever eaten. After thirty years of working as a chef I have developed the understanding needed to create such dishes.
This website was started a few years ago in an effort to teach my kids how to cook and eat healthy. It is basically just a journal of the foods I eat everyday. Over time these pages have grown and so have the followers.See this page
