Cherry-Banana Multi Grain Breakfast Cereal

Ingredients:
10 Cherries, frozen, pitted 1 Cup Water 1/4 Cup Rolled Oats 1/2 Cup New Taste Cereal, cooked 1/2 Tbs. Flax Seed 1 Pinch Salt 1/2 Banana, very ripe
1 Tbs. Chopped Walnuts, or other 1 tsp. Maple Syrup, optional

Place all ingredients, minus banana and nuts, into a sauce pan.
Place pan on stove set on medium-high heat.
Bring liquid to a boil.
Cook and stir as you would regular oatmeal for about four minutes.

Remove cooked cereal from stove.
Add banana to pan.
Using a wire whisk, smash and blend banana into the cereal.
Remove cereal from pan and place into serving bowl.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts and serve.
You may want to add a teaspoon of maple syrup at the table.
