Shredded Slaw w/ Raisins and Sunflower Seeds


Ingredients:

8      Ounces White Cabbage, about 1/4 of a small head
8      Ounces Red Cabbage
2      Carrots
1/2   Green Bell Pepper

1      tsp. Celery Salt
1      tsp. Ground Yellow Mustard Powder
1     Pinch Salt and Pepper
1     Tbsp. Honey
2     Tbsp. Canola Oil
2     Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar
2     Tbsp. Raisins
2     Tbsp. Sunflower Seeds

Optional Ingredients: a little chopped up green onion and / or parsley.



Trim and peel away any dark or blemished leaves.

Cut Cabbage into wedges to fit the food processor tube.

Remove the core, if you wish.

You can also simply shred the cabbage by hand with a sharp knife.


Use the slicing blade to shred both cabbages.

Place cabbage into a mixing bowl.

Use the grating blade to grate the carrots.

Or you can also just use a box hand grater.


Slice the green pepper as thin as you can.

Gather, measure and place all remaining ingredients into the bowl.

Toss well by hand,

You can serve immediately or for best results cover and place into the fridge for an hour or two.
