This sort of fancy presentation is something that you could make for a child in an effort to get them excited about healthy snacking. It is also a great way to indulge a loved one.
Living here in the Coachella Valley, we have the best grapefruit in the world. I have found that the easiest way to eat grapefruit is to cut them into wedges and eat them just as you would an orange. No need to own one of those little grapefruit knives. I have shown this tequinique below.
How to cut a grapefruit into wedges:
The goal is to cut the wedges from around the core.
Place knife off-center of the middle of grapefruit.
Cut a large slice just to one side of the core.
Cut that large slice in half making two wedges.
Cut more wedges from around the core.
Place all wedges on a plate and enjoy.
