I like this brand of Italian plum tomatoes because they are in a light tomato puree.
The tomato puree adds the right amount of thickness to the sauce.
Tomatoes that are canned in juice will also work but do not have the same body.

Peel two big fat cloves of garlic.
Gather and measure all spice ingredients.
| |
Place garlic into food processor and let the machine run for a few seconds.
Add spices and pulse machine a few times to mix ingredients together.
Add canned tomatoes and pulse the machine around 20 times to chop and puree ingredients together.
| |
Pour tomato puree into a mixing bowl.
Add olive oil and wine to the bowl.
Mix ingredients together.
Cover bowl with plastic and place into the fridge for one or two days before using.
