1 Tbs. White Vinegar 1 Tbs. Lemon Juice 1 tsp. Dijon Mustard 1/4 Cup Buttermilk 1/4 Cup Yogurt, plain, low fat 1/8 tsp. Black Pepper, ground 1/4 tsp. Celery Salt 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder 1/4 tsp. Granulated Garlic, dry 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
Directions:
Place all ingredients, minus oil, into a mixing bowl.
Blend ingredients together with a wire whisk.
Keep on whisking as you slowly drizzle oil, a little at a time, into the bowl.
You will notice that this dressing does not emulsify completely and you have little beads of oil on the top.
This is not a big deal because the oil will not actually separate out of the dressing.
New Taste Thinking.
It is not easy to find a healthy and delicious salad dressing. Many times the dressings have more fat and calories than the salad. Try this dressing on any of your favorite recipes that call for a ranch dressing. I love it as a dip for the Veggie Snack or as a substitute for the Caesar dressing on the Caesar Salad.
