Baked Strawberries and Apricots

Imagine the inside of a fresh baked pie without an insane amount of sugar

Heat Oven To 400°

Ingredients:

8     Apricots or Apricot-Plums, perfectly ripe
10   Strawberries, big, fat and juicy


Wash and dry fruit.

Cut apricots in half and remove pit.

Cut strawberries in half, remove stem.



Place strawberries and apricots into a large baking dish.
 
Bake fruit in the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove cooked fruit from the oven and let cool in dish for about 15 minutes.

Pour fruit into a bowl and be sure to scrape all of the juice into the same bowl with a rubber spatula.



This fruit makes a great dessert or snack just by itself

Can be served hot, warm or cold.

It is also great over plain yogurt.

I think that the fruit is sweet enough as is but if you like you can add a teaspoon of agave nectar.
