Working With Leftover Roast Sirloin

Ingredients:

1      Pound Leftover
Roast Sirloin
1      Tbs. Olive Oil
4      Ounces Mushrooms
1/2   Green Pepper
1/2   Onion
1/4   Cup Stock, chicken or vegetable
1      Pinch Montreal Steak Seasoning or Salt & Pepper

This is a piece of top sirloin that was cooked a couple of days ago.

Cut the meat into thin slices.

Cut the vegetables into thin slices.

Place a pan over medium-high heat.

Add oil and vegetables.

Sauté vegetables until mushrooms and onion turn brown.

Add a pinch of seasoning or salt and pepper.

Add stock to the hot pan.

Place meat into the pan in one even layer.

The meat will heat as the stock steams in the pan.

By the time the stock has cooked off and evaporated, the meat will be hot.

Serve meat and vegetables with any grain dish or put inside whole grain bread for a great sandwich.
