Ingredients:
1 Top Sirloin Roast, between 3.5 and 4 pounds 1 Tbs. Montreal Steak Seasoning

Heat Oven To 350°
Trim away any visible fat.
Place roast into a large pan.
Sprinkle with seasoning.
Let roast sit out at room temperature for one hour.

Place roast in oven and cook until desired doneness.
This roast weighed 3.86 pounds and cooked for exactly one hour.
The roast was removed from the oven with an internal temperature of 120°.
Leave the cooked roast to rest in the pan for 15 minutes before carving.
After that amount of time the roast will cook another 10° to a nice medium-rare.

Slice the roast lengthwise as thin as you can.
An electric knife works well.
Cut only as much as you are going to eat.
Chill the leftover roast, cover and refrigerate for up to one week.

Top sirloin is an excellent example of a lean protein.
Even if you don't eat much red meat you may want to keep an eye out for top sirloin on sale.
This whole roast cost under eight dollars and can feed between 8 and 10 people.
You can also take this meat and cut it into small pieces for kabobs or cut the meat into steaks for grilling.
